Moses Moyo founded the popular Inner City Gazette Newspaper and acts as editor and publisher. When he’s not building communities, or mentoring younger South Africans, he’s talking to organisations and individuals about active citizenship and South Africa’s future possibilities, He is also an activist, with particular interest in issues of human rights and media freedom.
Recently At the 16th Highway Africa Conference at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, between 9 and 11 September 2012 Inner-city Gazette newspaper won an award in the ‘Innovative Newsroom’ category.
Moses Moyo was 2nd runner up in the Capro Publisher of the Year awards –Also won the most Improved Publisher for the year 2012.
Moses Has been instrumental on the revival of the Gauteng Regional Structure – he currently serves as the interim Chairperson.
