Open Democracy Advice Centre (ODAC)

  • The Protected Disclosures Act 2000 (PDA) Assented to and signed on 1 August 2000
  • The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2000 (PAIA) Signed by the President on 2 February 2000
  • The Promotion of Administrative Justice Act 2000 (PAJA) Signed by the President on 3 February 2000

Wits Law Clinic (WLC)

wlc The University of the Witwatersrand Law Clinic started as a small advice office with the assistance of students who participated on a voluntary basis. The Clinic has a twofold purpose: Firstly, the Clinic acts as a teaching institution, where final year law students are taught the practise of law.
